Daniel Labille

Daniel Camille Victor Marie Labille (born October 15, 1932 in Nouvion-sur-Meuse , Ardennes department , France ) is a French Roman Catholic clergyman and emeritus bishop of Créteil .

Life

Daniel Labille was ordained a priest on April 15, 1956 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on June 26, 1978 titular bishop of Fata and auxiliary bishop in Soissons . The Archbishop of Reims , Jacques Ménager , donated him episcopal ordination on September 17th of the same year; Co - consecrators were Alphonse-Gérard Bannwarth , Bishop of Soissons, and Guy Herbulot , Bishop of Corbeil .

Pope John Paul II called him Bishop of Soissons on February 16, 1984 and Bishop of Créteil on March 25, 1998. On September 17, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.

From April 19 to December 20, 2015 he was Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Soissons during the Sedis vacancy .
