Daniel Odier

Daniel Odier (born May 17, 1945 in Geneva ) is a Swiss writer and tantra - as well as Chan teacher. He published a number of detective novels under the pseudonym Delacorta .

Life

Odier studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome . In 1964 he published his first book, the volume of poetry Transparences .

In 1980 he received the Prix ​​Bibliomedia (awarded for the first time) for his novel Le milieu du monde .

Alain Tanner translated Odier's novel La voie sauvage into his 1981 film Les Années lumière (Light Years Away ).

Nana (Eng. Nina ), Diva , Lola , Vida : these are some of the titles of the crime novels that he published under the name “Delacorta” and that, translated into 14 languages, made him world famous as an author. Jean-Jacques Knieix used one of these as a template for his cult film Diva (also from 1981).

Once a student of Kalu Rinpoche , today, as a recognized master, he accompanies students all over the world on the path of Tantra or Chan .
