Daniel Wolf (born May 4, 1985 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player on the position of midfielder on the left or right wing.

Career

society

Wolf began his career with the youth teams and the academy of VfB Admira Wacker Mödling . From 2003 to 2004 he was also included in the combat team of the Südstädter . He was transferred to the beginning of 2004 Upper Austria for LASK Linz awarded, but he left early as the middle of the same year again to the Südstädtern return. From 2004 to 2006, Wolf played for his home club and made 14 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga .

After two years with the Lower Austrians, Wolf received an offer from Italy and switched to AC Pistoiese in 2006 . This sold him again in 2007, and so Wolf transferred to Serie B for FC Piacenza , which played there , where he signed a contract until June 2011. On November 8, 2008, Wolf injured himself so badly in a 1-0 away win over Brescia Calcio in a collision with an opponent that he had an open fracture of the kneecap . Due to this injury, he had to pause for several months, but came at the end of the same season to a short stint when he came on on May 30, 2009 in the 2-1 away win over Vicenza Calcio in the 46th minute for Stefano Avogadri .

In January 2011 Wolf terminated his contract with Piacenza and returned to his home country Austria. This was followed by trial training at FK Austria Wien , but the Viennese refrained from making a commitment. On February 17, 2011 it was announced that Daniel Wolf is going back to his training and home club FC Trenkwalder Admira . His contract ran until the summer of 2011, with the option of an extension, which was not exercised. In the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons Wolf played at SC Wiener Neustadt , 2013/14 at TSV Hartberg and 2014/15 at SC Austria Lustenau , before returning to Wiener Neustadt in 2015.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to the regional division SC Ritzing .

National team

Wolf also made eight appearances in the U-21 national team of Austria .
