Daniela Jooß-Kesselmeyer

Daniela Jooss -Kesselmeyer (* 1972 in Stuttgart ; sometimes spelling Daniela Jooss-Kesselmeyer ) is a German singer with a mezzo-soprano voice .

Life

Daniela Jooß-Kesselmeyer was born in Stuttgart and grew up in Gerstetten on the Swabian Alb . In addition to studying music education at the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Education , she studied singing with Thomas Pfeiffer and Marianne Köhnlein-Göbel.

In 1999 Daniela Jooß-Kesselmeyer became a member of Das Solistenensemble under the direction of Gerhard Schnitter and with this she recorded more than ten classic concept productions for the Hänssler Verlag in Stuttgart. She was also involved in Christian pop music and sang on worship projects such as Celebrate Jesus! under Albert Frey with.

2001 Daniela Jooß-Kesselmeyer played for Klaus Heizmann with the Wiesbaden Studio Choir , the Classical - Pop - Cantata Hallelujah! Praise God . In the following a collaboration arose both in terms of production technology and concert performance. Together with flutist Heike Wetzel , “Passion concerts with a difference” with modern and classical songs , instrumental pieces, readings and a picture show have been taking place in spring for several years .

Daniela Jooß-Kesselmeyr gives her own concerts mostly in the form of recitals with pieces by classical composers but also modern titles from the New Spiritual Song . She also sings works from oratorios , operas and musicals . Their concert tours abroad have so far taken them to Austria , Finland , Israel , South Africa and the USA .

In 2009 her first solo album was released under the title Trustworthy in the House of Music , Wiesbaden .

Daniela Jooß-Kesselmeyer has been married since 1995. She has four children. Since 1998 in Munich resident, she is a freelance concert singer active and available as a singing teacher open workshops and singing lessons.
