Daniela Kotschová (born September 19, 1985 in Poprad ) is a former Slovak cross-country skier .

Career

Kotschová took part in competitions of the Fédération Internationale de Ski since 2002 . At the Junior World Championships in 2004 in Stryn , Norway , she was 18th in the sprint, 51st in the freestyle race over five kilometers and fifth in the Slovak cross-country relay. A year later she was at the Junior World Championships in 2005 in Rovaniemi, Finland 22nd in the sprint, 42nd in the freestyle race over five kilometers and 49th in the pursuit over 2 × 5 kilometers. Since 2006 she competed in the Slavic Cup, which she won in 2013. Her first of a total of six World Cup races she ran on March 1, 2008 in Lahti , Finland , when she was 63rd. At the Winter Universiade 2009 in Yabuli , China , she was 27th in the sprint and 49th in the pursuit race over ten kilometers. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme , she finished 66th in the sprint. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , she reached 54th place in the sprint and 13th place in the team sprint. Then she ended her career.
