Danila Sergejewitsch Isotow ( Russian Данила Сергеевич Изотов , scientific transliteration Danila Sergeevič Izotov ; born October 2, 1991 in Novouralsk , Sverdlovsk Oblast ) is a Russian swimmer .
Career
Isotow's special route is the 200 meter freestyle distance. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he swam the silver medal with the Russian 4 × 200 meter freestyle relay together with Nikita Lobinzew , Yevgeny Lagunov and Alexander Suchorukow and at the same time set a new European record. Over the 200 meter freestyle, he finished ninth.
