Darachiw ( Ukrainian Дарахів ; Russian Дарахов Darachow , Polish Darachów ) is a village in the center of the Ukrainian Oblast Ternopil with about 2100 inhabitants (2001).
The first time in 1564 in writing mentioned village is the administrative center of the same name, 9,071 square kilometers of district municipality in the center of Terebovlia Raion to which even the villages Kamianka ( Кам'янка , ⊙ ) with about 180 inhabitants, Tjutkiw ( Тютьків , ⊙ ) with about 550 Residents belong.
The village is located at an altitude of 310 m on the banks of the Brussynez ( Брусинець ), a 17 km long right tributary of the Seret , 13 km west of the Terebowlja district center and 38 km south of the Ternopil oblast center .
The N 18 road runs through the village and is crossed by the T-09-08 territorial road north of the village .
