The Dargo River is a river in Gippsland in the Australian state of Victoria .

It rises below Mount Hogginbotham in the Alpine National Park ( Great Dividing Range ) at an altitude of 1260 m. It flows south and flows into the Wonnangatta River after 108 kilometers south of Waterford at an altitude of 160 m .

About 15 kilometers from its mouth it flows through the small town of Dargo .
