Darija Serhijiwna Snihur ( Ukrainian Дарія Сергіївна Снігур , eng. Daria Snigur ; born March 27, 2002 in Kiev ) is a Ukrainian tennis player .

Career

Snihur started playing tennis at the age of seven and prefers hard courts as a playing surface. She mainly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has won three singles titles so far.

In 2019 she reached the semi-finals in the junior singles at the Australian Open , where she lost 4-6 and 1-6 to the eventual winner Clara Tauson . At the French Open she reached the quarterfinals in the junior singles , where she lost to Emma Navarro 7: 6, 6 , 3: 6 and 2: 6. In July, she won the title in Wimbledon in the junior women individual against Alexa Noel with 6: 4 and 6 to 4.
