Dario Dabac (born May 23, 1978 in Senj ) is a former Croatian soccer player and current soccer coach. He is under contract with NK Nehaj Senj. He was most recently under contract with Sichuan Jiuniu.
Career
Dabac started his career in the youth of NK Nehaj Senj. In his first professional years he had several engagements with clubs in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina before moving to Dynamo Dresden in 2001 in the then fourth-class Oberliga Nordost . It succeeded in direct promotion to the third-class Regionalliga Nord . After another season he finally moved to 1. FC Union Berlin in the 2nd Bundesliga . With him he got down again, but moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth and stayed in the second division. But even after only one year his commitment there was over and he moved to SV Ried in Austria . This was followed by many short-term positions, including in Japan at Sanfrecce Hiroshima , in Kuwait near Al-Arabi and in China at Chongqing Lifan and Shenyang Zhongze. Most recently he played again at his youth club NK Nehaj Senj, where he ended his active career in 2015.
In total, Dabac played five games for the Croatian U-21s .
In 2015 he started his coaching career, first in the youth of HNK Rijeka , then with Sichuan Jiuniu, where he was released in 2019. Since then he has been without a club.
