Dariusz Pasieka (born August 3, 1965 in Chojnice ) is a former Polish football player and today's coach .

Career

He played for Chojniczanka Chojnice , Zawisza Bydgoszcz , Nea Salamis Famagusta , Dynamo Dresden and SV Waldhof Mannheim .

After finishing his playing career, Pasieka worked as a coach. From January 17, 2005 to June 10, 2005, he took part in the 50th DFB football instructor course at the German Sport University Cologne , completing it with the acquisition of a football instructor license.

As early as 2003, after a year as an assistant coach at SV Waldhof Mannheim  , he became assistant coach at SSV Jahn Regensburg under the then coach Mario Basler . After his release on September 20, 2005, Pasieka was hired as head coach. However, when the club was on the verge of relegation after six games without a win in the 2005/06 season and there were differences on the board, they separated on April 7, 2006 from him. Pasieka was signed on September 8, 2006 as Roland Seitz's new assistant coach at SC Paderborn 07 , and since April 20, 2008 he has been working with Sascha Franz as Holger Fach's assistant coach for FC Augsburg . In December 2008, FC Augsburg already announced to Pasieka that they saw no need to extend his contract, which ended on June 30, 2009. After no game was won in the second half of the season (2008/09 season) (5 draws and 5 defeats), Pasieka was released on April 13, 2009 together with Holger Fach and Sascha Franz. In August 2009 he became a coach at the Polish club Arka Gdynia , which he was in charge of for two years. In 2011 he took over the coaching position at KS Cracovia .
