Darja Vyacheslavovna Gruschina ( Russian Дарья Вячеславовна Грушина ; born March 26, 1998 in Saint Petersburg ) is a Russian ski jumper .

Career

Before the international FIS competitions, Gruschina took part in national competitions. On February 5, 2012, she won the Carinthian State Cup in Villach . On December 7th, 2012 she performed her first jump on the previously unjumped K 95 Olympic hill in Sochi . She has been taking part in the FIS Cup since January 2013 . She was fourth and second in Râşnov . At her first Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2013 in Liberec , she was 31st in the individual and sixth in the team. Gruschina also jumps in the Continental Cup . In the 2013 Summer Grand Prix season , she did not make it into the second round in all six competitions and was disqualified once. She became Russian Vice State Champion in 2013 and has been part of the national team and junior squad of the Russian national team since 2013. She made her debut in the World Cup on December 7th, 2013 in Lillehammer with 48th place. At her second Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2014 in Val di Fiemme , she jumped to 28th place in the individual and sixth place in the team like a year earlier. During the 2014 Winter Olympics, she jumped in the Continental Cup in Lahti , where she finished eighth, her best result of the season.
