Bruce Wayne has ended his career as Batman and lives secluded in the mountains. The reason for his withdrawal is shown in a flashback: Batgirl was unmasked by the Joker , who held her father, Commissioner Gordon, in a cage. To save her father, Batgirl let herself be abused by the Joker, when she finally wanted to free him from his cage, she was shot by the Joker. In another flashback, he recalls the time when his partner Nightwing fell under the spell of Poison Ivy and refused to follow him: Poison Ivy wanted to poison Gotham City , which Batman tried to prevent. In a fight with Nightwing he was defeated, after which Nightwing and Poison Ivy had sex. Batman recovered from the fight and foiled the attack on the city by blowing up Poison Ivy's lair.

He is torn from his memories when the injured Catwoman appears in his apartment. She wants to report on the conditions in Gotham City since Batman's absence. After they slept together, she tells that Gotham City is being terrorized by Bane and that Batman's friend, Kathy Kane, is being held prisoner. Bruce Wayne then decides to put his costume back on and goes as Batman to a show where Zatanna appears. After the performance, she goes to the cloakroom, where she pleases Constantine orally . After that, Batman enters the cloakroom and asks her for help. In the next scene, Batman goes to Bane's hiding place, where a fight ensues. Catwoman appears and takes Bane's side, but both are overwhelmed by Batman. When he tries to free his girlfriend, she stabs him with a knife. While Batman lies dying on the floor, the other three have intercourse. In the final scene, Batman's fingers twitch.

Dark Knight XXX: A Porn Parody is the eighth work in the Vivid Superheroes film series by the production studio Vivid Entertainment Group . In the same year, the films Star Wars XXX - A Porn Parody , Avengers XXX - A Porn Parody and Superman vs. Spider-Man XXX: An Axel Braun Parody by director Axel Braun.

The film was released on DVD in 2012 in an anamophoric widescreen format with an aspect ratio of 1.78: 1. In addition to the film, the DVD contains an approximately 20-minute cut without pornographic scenes, several interviews and a behind-the-scenes feature.

Axel Braun wrote the script together with Mark Logan , trying to incorporate elements from all parts of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. Production lasted from April 1 to May 8, 2012. Since Dark Knight XXX was filmed when the third part of the The Dark Knight Rises trilogy had not yet appeared, the content of this part was not yet known to them.

The film received mostly positive reviews. The acting performances in Dark Knight XXX are praised as above average for porn films. Giovanni Francisco conveys his torments and worries as Batman convincingly, while Brendon Miller shines in the role of the crazy violent criminal Joker. The costume or the music tailored to the sexual act are also praised. The script is criticized negatively because it seems pieced together. Instead of spreading the abundant fabric over several films, it was cut so that the individual parts no longer fit together.

The dark mood of the film is traced back to the first scene in which Batgirl is raped in front of her father and then shot. The figure of the Joker is drawn even more negatively than in the original, and the overall effect of the film is perceived as darker, more depressing and more hopeless than its originals.

Dark Knight XXX: A Porn Parody was nominated for a film award in numerous categories at industry awards from Adult Video News and XBIZ in 2013, but, unlike Braun's Star Wars XXX - A Porn Parody, it could not prevail in any category.
