Darlyn Gayol , full name Darlyn Julio Gayol Buzetta , (born November 20, 1964 in Rosario ) is a former Uruguayan football player and current coach.

Career

Player activity

Acting on the goalkeeping position, Gayol belonged at the beginning of his career in 1984 to the department selection of Colonia , with which he became champion that year. From 1985 to 1986 he played at club level for Central Español . This was followed in 1987 by a career station in Argentina at CA Lanús . From 1988 to 1989 he was active for the Club Sportivo Cerrito . From there he moved to Miramar Misiones within Montevideo for 1990 . In 1991 the Rampla Juniors signed him . This engagement ended in 1993. In 1994 and 1994 he was in the squad of Uruguay Montevideo FC . In 1997 he returned to the Rampla Juniors. The following year he was a player at Club Artigas from Rocha and reached the runner-up in the interior with the team. In 1999 he joined Rocha FC and until 2001 guarded the goal of the Osturuguayans. In 2002, Rampla from Rocha was the last to be run for him .

Coaching career

Gayol took up a career as a coach after his active career. He first worked in 2002 as an assistant to Juan Ramón Carrasco at Rocha FC . After he was director of the IMC football school in Colonia from 2004 to 2005, he again held the position of assistant coach at the Abha Club in Saudi Arabia in 2006 at the side of Carlos Dante Cardozo . He was also responsible for the U-18 and U-20 teams there. With the team he won the Copa Red Faid Faishal . In 2007 he worked at the “El General” football school in Colonia. He was then from 2007 to 2008 assistant and goalkeeping coach of the department selection of Colonia, with which he won both the title of Campeón del interior and the Copa San Isidro de Curuguaty . Also in 2008 he coached the Club Nacional from Nueva Helvecia . His team decided the Clausura in his favor and qualified for the Liga Mayor de Colonia . The following year Gayol was head coach at Colonia from Florencio Sánchez in the Copa OFI . In mid-January 2010 he took on his first professional head coach position at Plaza Colonia and held it until the end of June 2010. He then coached the Central Español team from July 2011 . There he was released on February 23, 2013. From November 2013 to the end of June 2014 he was responsible for the Canadian Soccer Club ensemble in the Segunda División . In September 2014, the third division Uruguay Montevideo FC signed him . At the Montevidean team he was head coach until the end of 2015. Seot in mid-January 2016 he was in charge of the Nueva Concepción team in Guatemala .
