The Darul Aman Stadium is a football stadium with athletics track in the Malaysian city of Alor Setar in the state of Kedah . It is the home ground of the Kedah FA football club from the Malaysia Super League .
history
The Darul Aman Stadium was officially opened on June 8, 1962 by Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah , Sultan of Kedah, as part of a game between the Malaysian national soccer team and South Korea (1-0). After an expansion, it has had a seating capacity of 32,387 since 1997. The main and opposite stands are covered. It was one of the stadiums for the 1997 World Youth Championship .
