Darwin Barreto , full name Darwin Fabián Barreto , (born May 9, 1981 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.69 meter tall offensive player Barreto comes from the youth department of Club Atlético Peñarol . In 2001 he was in the ranks of the Las Piedras- based club Juventud . He belonged to the squad of the Uruguayan first division club Bella Vista at least in the 2003 Apertura . With the Montevideanern he played seven games in the Primera División that season and scored two goals. In 2004 there was a station at Deportivo Colonia . There he scored three goals in 14 first division appearances. From 2005 to 2008 he was a player for Real Arroyo Seco . In the 2008/09 season he scored 13 goals for Guillermo Brown , other sources report 14 goals scored. In October 2009 he moved to Club Atlético Central Córdoba in Santiago del Estero, Argentina . There he played until mid-2013 and scored 48 league goals during this period, 15 of them in 30 appearances in the 2012/13 season. He then joined Guarani Antonio Franco . For the Posadas club , he played 19 times in the Torneo Argentino A in 2013/14 and scored once in the opposing goal. In mid-2014 there was initially an engagement with Unión Santiago , but he eventually returned to Central Córdoba. In the 2014/15 season he was used there eleven times (three goals) in the Torneo Argentino A and once (no goal) in the Copa Argentina . After the end of the season there have been no further assignments or squad memberships (as of September 23, 2016).
National team
Barreto was a member of the 2001 Uruguayan U-20 selection that took part in the 2001 U-20 South American Championship in Ecuador . There he was used at least in the 1-0 defeat in the group game against Colombia.
