Daryl Andrews (born April 27, 1977 in Campbell River , British Columbia ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who was last under contract with SønderjyskE Ishockey in the Metal Ligaen .

Career

The 1.90 m tall and 93 kg heavy left-handed shooter was selected during the NHL Entry Draft 1996 in the seventh round in a total of 173rd place by the officials of the New Jersey Devils . He played his first games for Western Michigan University in the NCAA . In 1999 he moved to the Albany River Rats in the American Hockey League .

From 2004 he continued his career in Europe. In the 2004/05 season he played for the Sheffield Steelers in England. He started the 2005/06 season in Germany with the Lausitzer Füchsen , but in December 2005 he moved to SønderjyskE Ishockey in the Danish league. Then he was under contract with the Krefeld Pinguine in the DEL in the 2007/08 season before he returned to SønderjyskE.

With SønderjyskE he won the Danish champions five times and the Danish cup competition three times .
