At school, the clone becomes more popular than Will; his classmate Heather is interested in him. However, Will's best friend Chuckie turns away.
The creators of Ocean Pups kidnap Will. This telepathically contacts the clone and tells him that he is on a bus to New York. Twoie and the other children save Will and take a substance from the developers that enables Twoie, who is in the process of dissolution, to survive. The kidnappers are arrested.
