David Bumberger (born February 5, 1999 in Rohrbach-Berg ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

society

Bumberger began his career at DSG Union Putzleinsdorf . In 2009 he switched to LASK . In 2012 he joined the youth team of FC Red Bull Salzburg , where he later played in the academy. In 2014 he moved to AKA Linz .

In March 2017 he played for the LASK Juniors Upper Austria in the regional league for the first time when he was in the starting line-up against Union St. Florian on matchday 18 of the 2016/17 season . With the Juniors he rose to the 2nd division in 2018 . In the 2017/18 promotion season, he played 15 games in the regional league and remained without a goal.

For the 2018/19 season he moved up to the LASK squad. First he played for FC Juniors OÖ for the first time in the second-highest division in August 2018 , when he was in the starting line-up against Floridsdorfer AC on the third matchday of that season and was replaced by Leon Ilić in the 82nd minute .

National team

Bumberger played for the Austrian U-18 team for the first time in October 2016 . He played his first game for the U-19 team in October 2017 against Kosovo .
