Marcel Michael Monsberger (born March 12, 2001 ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
society
Monsberger began his career at FC St. Michael / L. In 2008 he moved to ASV St. Margarethen / L. In 2011 he joined the youth team at Wolfsberger AC , where he later played in the academy.
In March 2017 he was against SV Feldkirchen for the first time in the squad of fourth-rate amateurs. After the rise of this he made his debut in the Regionalliga in July 2017 when he came on as a substitute for Alexander Hofer in the 71st minute against USV Allerheiligen on the first day of the 2017/18 season .
In November 2017, he was against FC Admira Wacker Mödling for the first time in the professional squad. He made his debut in the Bundesliga in March 2018 when he replaced Majeed Ashimeru in the 85th minute against LASK on matchday 26 of that season .
For the 2018/19 season he moved to the second division club FC Juniors OÖ .
National team
Monsberger played his first game for an Austrian selection in April 2017. In August 2017 he made his first appearance for Austria's U-17 team against Finland and also scored his first goal for an Austrian selection.
In September 2018 he made his debut against Romania for the U-18 selection . In September 2019 he played for the U-19 team for the first time against Latvia .
