David Kienast (born April 1, 1989 in Reutlingen ) is a German soccer player who has been playing for SGV Freiberg since 2016 .
Career
Kienast was active in the youth field for SV Würtingen, TSV Sondelfingen and SSV Reutlingen 05 before joining VfB Stuttgart in 2005 . In the 2004/05 season, Kienast was a regular member of the German U-16 team , where he played with later national players such as Thomas Müller , Ron-Robert Zieler and Marko Marin . At VfB, Kienast was a regular player in the U-19 Bundesliga and moved to the SV Darmstadt 98 regional league team in summer 2008 .
In the summer of 2009, Kienast originally moved to SSV Ulm 1846 Fußball , where he met his former youth coach from VfB, Markus Gisdol . When Gisdol took over the second team of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim a few weeks later , Kienast followed suit, as did his team-mate Andreas Ludwig , and left Ulm without a competitive game. He was unable to establish himself at Hoffenheim and was rarely used , especially after being promoted to the Regionalliga Südwest in 2010 . In the summer of 2011 he left Hoffenheim and after a successful trial session he joined the league competitor SG Sonnenhof Großaspach . At Großaspach, Kienast established himself as a left full-back and rose to the 3rd professional league with the club in 2014 .
In addition to his footballing career, Kienast is studying business administration / sports management in Stuttgart. In mid-2013 he traveled - together with his teammates Robin Schuster and Dennis Grab - to Brazil with the German national student team.
