David Müller (born December 22, 1984 in Leverkusen ) is a German soccer player .

Career

David Müller began his career in the youth department of 1. FC Köln before moving to Bayer 04 Leverkusen , a neighbor in the Rhineland, in 1999 . There he played until 2005, including two years in the amateur team, before joining the second team of FC Schalke 04 , for which he played 28 games in the Oberliga Westfalen . Then Müller was in the squad for a year at the fourth division club TuRU Düsseldorf , where he was also used regularly. In 2007 the midfielder was signed by Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and initially played a year in a total of 35 matches in the regional league. After promotion, he made his second division debut on the first day of the 2008/09 season against TuS Koblenz . In the further course of the first half of the season he was hardly considered and only played in 6 of the 17 games. He then moved to VfR Aalen in January 2009 . With the descent of VfR at the end of the season to the fourth-class Regionalliga Süd , however, his contract became ineffective, and Müller has been without a club since then.

At the beginning of the 2009/10 season, Müller moved to the NRW league club Sportfreunde Siegen . In January 2010 he moved to TSV Germania Windeck . After Windeck did not apply for a license in the NRW League, Müller joined the newly promoted FC Viktoria Köln for the 2011/12 season . In 34 games he scored 14 goals and rose with Viktoria as a champion in the Regionalliga West. After two more years in the regional league, he left Cologne in 2014 and moved to the upper division SSVg Velbert . With Velbert, he also rose to the regional league in 2015 and was relegated a year later.
