David Solari (born June 6, 1968 in Adelaide , Australia ) is a former Australian- Italian cyclist .

In 1986 David Solari took two third places at the Junior Track World Championships, in the team and in the single pursuit . In 1988 he started for Italy at the Olympic Games in Seoul and finished sixth in the team pursuit, together with Ivan Beltrami , Gianpaolo Grisandi , Fabrizio Trezzi and Fabio Baldato . At the UCI World Championships in 1989 in Lyon , the Italian four-four finished third with Solari, Marco Villa , Giovanni Lombardi and Ivan Cerioli . 1990 , 1991 and 1992 he was vice-champion of the Amateur - stayer .
