David Neil Twohy (born October 18, 1955 ) is an American director and screenwriter .
Life
A graduate of California State University , he holds degrees in radio / television and film studies. His best-known works include the screenplay for action successes such as Auf der Flucht (1993), Waterworld (1995) and The Jane Files (1997) and the science fiction films about the antihero Richard B. Riddick played by Vin Diesel .
