David Viry (born March 9, 1989 ) is a former French ski jumper .

Career

Viry celebrated his debut in international competition at two competitions within the framework of the FIS Cup on February 3rd and 4th 2007 in Chaux-Neuve , in which he was 31st and 37th. These missions were his only for more than two years, as he did not play his next FIS Cup competition until July 2010. After two seventh places in the FIS Cup in Einsiedeln in October 2010, Viry was allowed to debut in the Continental Cup in Vikersund in December of that year . In these competitions, however, he was only 60th and 69th.

At the French Championships 2011 in Courchevel , Viry won the silver medal in the individual competition.

Viry achieved his best result so far in the Continental Cup in September 2012 when he reached 10th place in Klingenthal . Viry started mainly and regularly in the Continental Cup until 2014, but only with moderate success in recent years.

He made his World Cup debut in November 2013 in the Klingenthal team competition . It was his only world cup competition.
