David Wiencek (born February 2, 1993 ) is a German handball player . Wiencek primarily plays in the middle back space and occasionally plays in the left and right back space.
Career
Wiencek learned to play handball at MSV Duisburg . In 2006 the right-hander switched to the C-youth upper division club MTV Rheinwacht Dinslaken . Then Patrick Wiencek's brother played on TV Jahn Hiesfeld . In summer 2009 he joined TUSEM Essen . A year later Wiencek moved to VfL Gummersbach . In the 2011/2012 season, Wiencek played a key role in both the A-Youth Bundesliga and the second men's team at VfL Gummersbach. From the 2012/13 season Wiencek was part of the Bundesliga team, where he was occasionally used. In the summer of 2013 Wiencek switched to TBV Lemgo , where he is used in the 2nd team. From December 2013 he also ran due to a second game right on the second division ASV Hamm-Westfalen . For the 2014/15 season he signed a two-year contract with ASV. After the two years, Wiencek voluntarily joined the second ASV team, SG Handball Hamm, so that he could take better care of his training. But he still belongs to the extended ASV squad. From summer 2018 he was under contract with third division Leichlinger TV . In January 2019, Wiencek joined the Ahlener SG .
Wiencek was a member of the German junior national team, for which he played two international matches.
