David Zuberbühler (2019)

David Zuberbühler (born February 20, 1979 in Herisau ; resident in Urnäsch ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ).

Profession and private life

Together with his brother, David Zuberbühler runs two SME companies (shoe retail and wholesale) with around 90 employees. He is married, has two children and has lived in Herisau since he was born.

Political career

In 1999 Zuberbühler joined the newly founded party of the young SVP AR / AI / SG. From 1999 to 2011 he was a member of the Herisau residents' council, where he chaired the finance committee. From 2011 to 2016 he was a member of the Cantonal Council of Appenzell Ausserrhoden .

In the Swiss parliamentary elections in 2015 he was appointed to the National Council elected. There he takes a seat in the Security Policy Commission and in the delegation for relations with the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein. The Tages-Anzeiger described it as “inconspicuous, but pointedly right”.
