Davis Curiale (born December 30, 1987 in Cologne ) is an Italian football player . He is a native German and the son of Sicilian immigrants.
Career as a player
society
He started playing football at the age of five and joined SC Fortuna Köln at the age of 12 , where he was only used in friendly matches in his first season. When he switched to C-youth, his star was slowly blossoming. There he scored 22 goals under coach Udo Röbenack, with whom he still maintains a friendly relationship today. In the following year he was able to top this quota under the same coach and score 36 goals.
When his father died in a tragic traffic accident in the summer of 2002, the family decided to go back to Italy, which they did after Davis graduated from tenth grade. There he initially joined a provincial club, but quickly attracted the attention of numerous scouts. After a short time he moved to Campobello di Mazara and at the end of the season to US Palermo , where he was used in the A youth. In his first year as a senior player, he sat on the bench in the European Cup at the away game at Fenerbahçe Istanbul and even sniffed the air of Serie A when, for example , he sat on the bench during the away game against Inter Milan . In the youth of US Palermo, with his 28 goals in the 2006/07 season, he contributed significantly to the fact that the team reached the semi-finals of the Cup, but were eliminated there against Inter Milan.
On June 5, 2007, he was loaned from US Palermo to SS Sambenedettese Calcio to collect game practice there. A year later he was awarded the second division to Vicenza Calcio . There he did not get beyond the status of substitute, so he went to Ravenna Calcio in the third division in February 2009 . In the 2009/10 season he played in Serie B and was loaned to AS Cittadella . One season later he played for FC Crotone before he was hired for the 2011/12 season with US Triestina in Serie C1.
After a brief engagement with US Grosseto , his most successful position to date followed at Frosinone Calcio . In 59 league games scored Curiale 26 hits and got into the series B on. After two years he moved to Trapani Calcio , but after half a year he was awarded to the US Lecce . After another season at Trapani, he moved to Catania Calcio .
National team
In the 2007/08 season he was used in three games of the U-20 national team of Italy .
