Dawydiwka ( Ukrainian Давидівка ; Russian Давыдовка Dawydowka , Romanian Davideni , German (until 1918) Dawideny ) is a village in Bukovina in the center of the Ukrainian Oblast Chernivtsi with about 3,300 inhabitants (2009).
Dawydiwka was until 2016 an independent municipality in western Storozhynets Raion and since then part of the settlement council of the municipality 18 km east Rajonzentrums lying Storozhynets .
From the beginning to the middle of the 20th century, the local railway Czudin – Koszczuja ran through the village, known since the 18th century .
Davydivka is located at an altitude of 432 m north of the bank of the Maly Seret ( Малий Серет ), a 61 km long tributary of the Seret 40 km southwest of the Oblast capital Chernivtsi .
