The DeSoto CK series was a series of passenger cars offered by Chrysler under the DeSoto brand name in the 1930 model year.
Like their predecessors in the K series , the cars were equipped with an in-line six-cylinder engine with upright valves, producing 2866 cm³ (bore × stroke = 76.2 mm × 104.8 mm) 55 bhp (40 kW) at 3000 rpm. pulled, which were forwarded to the rear wheels via a manual three-speed gearbox. The other details, such as the chassis with a 2788 mm wheelbase and the four hydraulically braked wooden spoke wheels, corresponded to the previous model. In addition to two 2-door coupes and a 2-door roadster, a 4-door Phaeton and a 2-door and a 4-door sedan.
The differences to the K series were limited to a slightly different radiator grille and headlights, which instead of sitting next to this grille on the front fenders. To better highlight the new model, it was marketed as Finer DeSoto .
