Dean Kelly (born May 25, 1988 ) is a former Irish ice hockey player who played two years for the Flyers Ice Hockey Club from Dublin in the Irish Ice Hockey League .

Career

Dean Kelly began his career as a hockey player in 2007 with the Flyers Ice Hockey Club in the newly founded Irish Ice Hockey League . In his first season in the top Irish league, the striker scored 17 points, including four goals, in 11 main round games. Then Kelly qualified with his team for the playoff semi-finals, in which he prepared the only goal of the Flyers in the 1: 4 defeat by the Dublin Rams . After he was not active in league play from 2009 to 2011, he played from 2011 to 2013 for the Dublin Rovers. He then ended his active career.

International

For Ireland , Kelly took part in the Division III World Championships in 2007 , 2009 , 2010 , 2012 and 2013 and the Division II World Championships in 2008 and 2011 .
