Dean Maric (born October 10, 1989 ) is a former Austrian football player .

Career

Maric started his career at SCM Vandans . In 1999 he switched to the youth team at SK Sturm Graz , where he later played in the academy. In August 2006 he made his debut for the amateurs of Graz in the Regionalliga when he came on as a substitute for Daniel Beichler on the first day of the 2006/07 season against USV Allerheiligen in the 89th minute .

He scored his first goal in the Regionalliga in September 2008 in a 3-0 win against FC Kärnten . In March 2009 he was in the professional squad of Sturm Graz for the first time against FC Red Bull Salzburg , but was not used.

For the 2010/11 season he was awarded to the second division club TSV Hartberg . He made his debut in the second division in October 2010 when he was brought into play on the 15th matchday of that season against FC Gratkorn in the 86th minute for Robert Strobl .

After the loan ended, he returned to Sturm in 2011, where, as before the loan, he was only used for the amateurs. For the 2012/13 season Maric moved to the fourth class SC Buchschachen . After half a year in Burgenland , he moved to SV Wildon in January 2013 . For Wildon he completed eight games in the national league by the end of the season . After the end of the season he left the club again.

After a year and a half without a club, he joined ASK Voitsberg in January 2015 . After seven games for Voitsberg in the regional league, he left the club in the summer of 2015. Voitsberg, however, remained his last position, he did not move to any other club after his departure.
