Dean Peterson (born July 25, 1988 in Adelaide ) is a former Australian ice hockey player who was under contract for most of his career at Adelaide Adrenaline in the Australian Ice Hockey League .

Career

Dean Peterson began his career as a hockey player in his hometown with Adelaide Avalanche , where he played in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) until 2007 . With Avalanche he won the VIP Cup in 2007 as the winner of the main round of the AIHL. After Adelaide Avalanche had to stop playing in June 2008 for financial reasons, he moved to the successor club Adelaide Adrenaline , which in July 2008 initially took the place of Avalanche in the AIHL under the name Adelaide A's. With the A's he won the Goodall Cup in 2009 , which has been awarded to the AIHL champions since 2002. In 2014 he ended his career.

International

For Australia, Peterson took part in the junior division of the 2007 U20 World Cup in Division II .

In the men's area, he was part of the Australian squad at the 2010 World Cup in Division II.
