Dean Thurura (born February 16, 1991 ) is a Belgian ice hockey player who has been under contract with IHC Leuven since 2010 and has played with the club in the Belgian-Dutch BeNe League since 2015 .

Career

Dean Thurura has played at IHC Leuven since the beginning of his career , for whom he made his debut in 2010 as a 19-year-old in the honor division . With the team from the traditional university town, he became Belgian champion in 2013 . In the 2011/12 season he also took part in the Belgian-Dutch North Sea Cup with the IHC . Since 2015 he has been playing with the club in the newly founded Belgian-Dutch BeNe League .

International

In the junior division, Thurura played with Belgium at the U20 World Cup 2011 in Division II.

For the Belgian men's national team , Thurura took part in the World Championships in Division II in 2012 , 2013 , 2015 and 2016 , with promotion from group B to group A in 2012.
