The Dechang County ( Chinese 德昌县 , Pinyin Déchāng Xiàn ) in the Liangshan Autonomous District of the Yi is located in the southwest of the Chinese province of Sichuan , People's Republic of China . Its main place is the large community of Dezhou (德州 镇). The district has an area of 2,284 km² and has 190,000 inhabitants (2002).
Administrative structure
At the community level, the district is made up of three large communities and twenty communities (two of which are nationalities).
