The circle Meigu ( Chinese 美姑县 , pinyin Meigu Xiàn ) is a district in the north of the Autonomous Prefecture of Liangshan Yi of the Chinese province of Sichuan . Its main town is the large community of Bapu (巴普 镇). It has an area of 2,573 km² and has a population of 180,000 (2002).
