The Deer Creek is about 14 miles long right tributary of the Clarion River in Clarion County in the northwest of the US state Pennsylvania . It flows through the Elk and Beaver townships, draining an area of ​​around 192 square kilometers.

The river has its source northwest of Shippenville in Elk Township and initially flows in a southeastern direction. After Shippenville he takes on the Paint Creek and crosses the Pennsylvania State Game Lands 63 in a south to southwest direction. It touches the Clarion County Airport and crosses under Interstate 80 before it flows into the Clarion River a little later. Most of its river valley is forested and undeveloped.
