Deh Sabz ( Persian ولسوالی دهسبز) is a northeastern district (government district) of the province of Kabul in Afghanistan .
The district is bordered by the Shakardara and Mir Bacha Kot districts to the west, the Qarabagh and Kalakan districts to the northwest, the Parwan province to the north and east , the Sarobi district to the southeast, and the Bagrami and Kabul districts to the south . The main town, which is located in the southwest part of the district, is Tarakhel .
The Kabul River flows through the district . The main road to Kabul-Jalalabad-Road is also located here. Many residents live in villages because the civil war has destroyed their homes and displaced people. Agriculture also plays a major role here. There are schools for girls and boys. The inhabitants are mainly Pashtuns , followed by Tajiks .
