Deividas Šemberas (born August 2, 1978 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian football official and former football player who currently plays for the Russian first division club FC Alania Wladikawkas .
Life
On December 3, 2015 Šemberas became president and board member of the association A lygos klubų asociacija .
family
His father is Vaclovas Šemberas, an entrepreneur, co-owner of UAB “Lėvuo”, which manages Marc Cain , Lacoste businesses in Lithuania.
Šemberas has been divorced since 2010. His wife was pop singer Agnė Armoškaitė-Šemberienė (* 1981), daughter of the art collector Edmundas Armoška . They have had their son Gabrielius since 2002.
Šemberas has been in a relationship with photo model Oksana Zlatkovaitė, who is known as the Lithuanian Eva Longoria , since 2010 .
Career
Šemberas started his career at Vilnius FK Žalgiris , a football club from the Lithuanian capital, where Šemberas was born. Here, however, he only played a year and then moved to Russia to Dinamo Moscow . He played 88 games in three years and scored three goals. In 2001 he was signed by league rival CSKA Moscow, where he played until 2012. In the 2005 UEFA Cup final at the José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon , where his club beat Sporting Lisbon 3-1 , he was substituted on for Daniel Carvalho in the 82nd minute .
Šemberas was a seasoned international, so he completed a total of 51 internationals. The Lithuanian was mainly used in the position of right -back.
