Dejan Pecakovski ( Macedonian Дејан Пецаковски ; born January 12, 1986 in Bitola , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Macedonian handball player who is mostly used on the left backcourt .

The 1.93 m tall and 93 kg heavy right-hander began his professional career at the Macedonian club RK Metalurg Skopje , with which he won the championship and cup in 2006. He then moved to RK Pelister Bitola in his hometown for one season , before returning to Metalurg and becoming a champion again in 2008. The following season he played at MRK Vardar Skopje. From 2009 he ran for RK Vardar Skopje . In 2011 he moved to RK Zomimak Strumica . He has been back in the Metalurg squad since 2013, with whom he won the championship in 2014. In the EHF Champions League 2013/14 he reached the quarter-finals. In October 2014 he returned to the RK Zomimak Strumica. After Strumica got into financial difficulties, he joined the Tunisian association Club Africain Tunis in January 2016 . For the 2016/17 season, Pecakovski moved to RK Eurofarm Rabotnik .

With the Macedonian national team Dejan Pecakovski took part in the 2014 European Championship , scored nine goals in six games and finished 10th. He has played 32 international matches so far , scoring 38 goals.
