The Delice Çayı (also Delice Irmağı ) is a right tributary of the Kızılırmak in Central Anatolia ( Turkey ).

The Delice Çayı was called Cappadox in ancient times . The river arises in the city of Şefaatli in the province of Yozgat at the confluence of Karasu Çayı (left) and Kanak Çayı (right). It initially flows in a west-northwest direction past the city of Yerköy . South of the village of Delice , the Kılıçözü Çayı flows from the left into the Delice Çayı. The Delice Çayı then turns north and passes Delice. At Kavşut , the Budaközü Çayı flows into the river on the right. Finally, the Delice Çayı joins the Kızılırmak after about 220 km. The Delice Çayı has a total length including its headwaters of 426 km. It drains an area of 17,228 km².
