Delo Naroda

Delo Naroda ( Russian Дело народа - The People's Cause ) was the name of a daily newspaper that was published as the organ of the Central Committee of the Social Revolutionary Party in Petrograd from July 15 . / March 28,  1917 greg. to 14 jul. / January 27,  1918 greg. was issued.

Until June 10th jul. / June 23, 1918 greg. it appeared under different names. The editors were Wladimir Michailowitsch Sensinow , RW Iwanow-Rasumnik , WW Lunkewitsch , Russanow , Viktor Michailowitsch Tschernow u. a.

The newspaper supported the Provisional Government , of which Chernov was a minister until September 1917. She took the positions of “defender of the fatherland” and “conciliatory” and called for the continuation of the First World War .

She rejected the October Revolution . Thus the newspaper was banned by the Bolsheviks . In October 1918, four more issues appeared in Samara (later renamed Kuibyshev ) and from March 20 to 30, 1919 , ten issues in Moscow . After that, their publication was finally discontinued.
