Demetrio Mansilla Reoyo (born November 23, 1910 in Los Ausines , Castile and León , Spain , † December 7, 1998 ) was Bishop of Ciudad Rodrigo .

Life

Demetrio Mansilla Reoyo received the sacrament of ordination on September 22, 1934 after studying Catholic theology and philosophy .

On November 15, 1958, Pope John XXIII appointed him . the titular bishop of Erythrae and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Burgos . The Archbishop of Burgos , Luciano Pérez Platero , donated him episcopal ordination on January 4, 1959 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Orense , Ángel Temiño Sáiz , and the Bishop of Calahorra y La Calzada , Abilio del Campo y de la Bárcena .

On July 7, 1964, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the Bishop of Ciudad Rodrigo. On January 7, 1988 Pope John Paul II accepted Demetrio Mansilla Reoyo's resignation due to reasons of age.

Demetrio Mansilla Reoyo participated in all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
