The Demyan Bednyy ( Russian Демьян Бедный , dt transcription. Demyan Bedny) is a river cruise ship , which in 1986 by the Austrian shipyards AG Linz in Korneuburg / Austria built and the Lena -Flussreederei ( Russian Ленское речное пароходство ) in Eastern Siberia was delivered , whereby the transfer journey alone took two years. It belongs to the Sergey Yesenin class (project Q-065). The ship was named after the Soviet poet Demjan Bedny and is used on the Yakutsk - Tiksi cruise route and on short trips to the natural wonder of Lenskije Stolby ( Russian Ленские Столбы ). The godmother of Demyan Bednyy was Elly Haiden.
