The river cruise ships of the Sergey Yesenin class , named after the Russian lyric poet Sergei Yesenin , which also became known as Project Q-065 , are river and canal motorized inland motor ships of medium-sized design.
history
The river cruise line was manufactured from 1984 to 1986. The former Austrian shipyard Korneuburg as part of the Österreichische Schiffswerften AG (ÖSWAG) built ships of their own design, as there was no corresponding building culture in the Soviet Union , confirmed by MinRechFlot as project Q-065 . With five units built, the type is one of the most successful and above all most comfortable (classified in the "4-star plus" category) designs of this type. The naming was strictly limited to poets. Used were the ships through Moskwa - (Московское), Ob-Irtysh - (Обь-Иртышское) only one year as a stopover and Lena - (Ленское) river shipping companies (речное пароходство) in Russia mainly inland services of the rivers Volga , Moskva , Neva and Lena . After the collapse of the Soviet Union , the ships were sold to Russian and foreign private companies. Thanks to the luxurious furnishings, two ships served as hotels in the center of Moscow for a long time.
technology
The ships were completely modernized in the 1990s and rebuilt for new conditions, whereby the number of passenger seats was considerably reduced. The ships have a diesel-electric drive with three non-reversible four-stroke main engines 6VD18 / 15AL-1 with exhaust gas turbochargers.
Furnishing
During construction, the ships were provided with single and double cabins as well as 1-, 2- and 4-bed cabins, all with washing facilities. There is also a bar, restaurant and common room available.
