Denis Jäpel (born May 26, 1998 in Weimar ) is a German football player .

Career

After starting out in the youth team at Blau-Gelb Mellingen, FC Einheit Bad Berka and VfB Oberweimar, he moved to the youth department of SC 1903 Weimar in summer 2013 . There he came to his first assignments in the senior division in the sixth class Thuringia league . After scoring 24 goals in 30 games there, he switched to the second representative of FC Carl Zeiss Jena . There, too, he was successful with 20 goals in 28 games, but failed to make the leap into the professional team, so that in summer 2018 he was awarded to VfB Germania Halberstadt in the Regionalliga Nordost for one season .

In the summer of 2019, he switched to third division club FSV Zwickau . It was there that he made his first professional appearance when he came on as a substitute for Elias Huth in the 78th minute of the 4-0 home win against FC Viktoria Köln on September 28, 2019, the 10th matchday . At the end of the 2019/20 season, he left the FSV again.
