Denis Nagulin

Denis Nagulin [ dɪniˈs nɐˈgulɪn ] ( Russian Дени́с Нагу́лин ; born November 27, 1992 in Saint Petersburg ) is a Russian automobile racing driver . He started in the GP3 series in 2014 .

Career

Nagulin began his motorsport career in touring car racing in 2008 . He took part in the light class of the Russian Touring Car Championship (RTCC). In 2009 and 2010 Nagulin competed in the Finnish Legends Trophy. 2011 changed Nagulin in Formula racing in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup for Cram Competition . He was 42nd in the drivers' championship.

In 2012 Nagulin received a cockpit at Campos Racing in the European F3 Open . While his teammate Facu Regalía won races and was fourth, Nagulin reached 21st place overall with a ninth place as the best result. Nagulin also took part in an Alpine Formula Renault event for AV Formula . In 2013 Nagulin played his second season for Campos in the European F3 Open. With a sixth place as the best result, he improved to 19th place in the overall ranking. Nagulin also competed for Cram at a Formula Abarth event . He won a race in the process.

In 2014 Nagulin competed for Trident Racing in the GP3 series . After the first race weekend, he lost his cockpit and did not complete any other races during the season.
