Denis Streker (born April 6, 1991 in Mainz ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Denis Streker was born in Mainz and was active in various clubs in the Mainz region in his youth. Streker played at FSV Oppenheim up to the D-youth and then moved to the C-youth of SV Guntersblum . In the 2007/08 season he played in Mainz with the B-youth of SV Gonsenheim .

He then moved in 2008 to the A-Youth of SV Wehen Wiesbaden , with whom he was promoted to the A-Junior Bundesliga. There Streker played for another six months in the club's youth department before he was pulled up early in 2009 to the second team, which was then playing in the Regionalliga Süd, and received a two-year contract. In the Regionalliga team he became a regular player and was used in 16 games by the end of the season. He often trained with the professional team of Hessen. Also in the following season 2010/11 he was able to defend his regular place and completed 28 games; He also sat on the bench in two third division games of the first team.

After his contract expired, Streker moved to the second team from Eintracht Frankfurt in July 2011 , which also played in the Regionalliga Süd. There, too, he became a regular player and after six months he was included in the training of the second division team under Armin Veh ; in a game of the professional team, however, he was not used.

After a year in Frankfurt, Streker made use of a release clause in his contract for the 2012/13 season and moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim , which signed him for their second team and where he signed a two-year contract. In the Kraichgauer's second team playing in the Regionalliga Südwest, he moved up to the squad of the Bundesliga team under coach Markus Babbel . Under him, he was used in four first division games, of which he was twice on the starting line-up, another seven times he sat on the bench without a subsequent use. In January 2013 he was loaned to the second division Dynamo Dresden for half a year , for whom he made his contribution to achieving relegation in ten games and then in a relegation game to keep them up. For the following 2013/14 season he returned to TSG Hoffenheim, but was only used in the second team.

For the 2014/15 season, Streker moved to the Austrian Bundesliga for SV Ried , where he signed a two-year contract with an option for another year.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to the German third division club FSV Frankfurt , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2018.
