Denni Djozic (born October 2, 1991 in Speyer ) is a German handball player .
The right-handed person is 1.75 m long and weighs 75 kg. He plays in the left winger position .
In 2010 he moved from SG Nussloch to the 2nd team of the Rhein-Neckar Löwen. After two seasons in the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga and promotion to the 3rd division, he made the leap into the Bundesliga squad in 2012 .
In February 2013 Djozic made his professional debut in the EHF European Cup against the Ukrainian club HK Motor Zaporozhye . In the semifinals of the EHF Cup against the German club Frisch Auf Göppingen , Djozic played in front of 5000 fanatical spectators in the cauldron of Nantes and scored a goal. One day later, on May 19, 2013, he won the EHF European Cup with the Rhein-Neckar Löwen in the final against the hosts HBC Nantes . In summer 2014 he moved to HBW Balingen-Weilstetten. In the 2015/16 season he is under contract with the second division club HC Erlangen . He then moved to TSG Friesenheim for which he played until 2018. With Friesenheim he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2017. He has been playing for third division club TSG Haßloch since February 2019 .
Since Djozic's parents come from Bosnia and Herzegovina , he had the right to Bosnian citizenship in addition to German. In 2013 he was appointed to the Bosnian national team, but could not be used in the qualifying games against Russia and Austria due to a knee injury and was not in the squad. Djozic has since remained without an international appearance for Bosnia and Herzegovina, so that he would still be eligible to play for both the German and the Bosnian national team.
