Dennis Breder (born June 24, 1980 ) is a German chess player and trainer.

Life

He learned to play chess from his father. Dennis Breder studied physics at the University of Bonn . He graduated with a diploma in 2009. His thesis is entitled Analysis of Multitrack Events in IceCube . From the 2010/11 school year he was a trainee lawyer for mathematics and physics at the Nordhorn grammar school. He is active as a chess youth trainer and regularly leads training sessions on the ChessBase server.

successes

In 1997 he was German U17 individual champion in Schopfheim , and in 1999 in Bonn-Röttgen with the Godesberger SK German U20 club team champion. He has held the title of International Master since 2001 . At the open international Bavarian championship in Bad Wiessee in November 2003 he achieved his first grandmaster norm.

His first club was the Brühler SK , which he joined in 1987. Then he played for many years for Godesberger SK . From 2009 to 2012 he played in the German Federal Chess League for the SK Turm Emsdetten . He has been registered with the Eppingen chess club since the 2014/15 season . In the Belgian Interclubs League he played for KSK 47 Eynatten , with whom he became Belgian team champion in 2005 , in Austria he has been playing for SK Hohenems since the 2012/13 season , with which he was Austrian team champion in 2014 and in the same year at European Club Cup , and in Switzerland from 2013 to 2017 for SC Bodan and since 2018 for SG Riehen .
